Doulton nitrates reduction cartridge is designed to reduce nitrates in municipal water supplies. The nitrates-reduction water treatment cartridge is for use in the first chamber of the Doulton DUO housing followed by the Doulton NSF UltraCarb (W9123053) in the second chamber to achieve great-tasting filtered drinking water. How often you replace the filter will depend on quality of water in your local area and filtration needs.
