Refund policy
Return, Exchange and Warranty Policies:
Items that are damaged and/or not in resalable condition will not be eligible for a refund or exchange. We cannot re-sell anything that is used. If you have used/assembled your item it cannot be returned.
** No credits will be issued beyond the 30 days period.
If you place an order and then don’t want it, it will be treated as a return. If you are dissatisfied with any product that has not been used or assembled, please contact us within 14 days (2 weeks) of receipt.
Return shipping is at the buyer’s expense. The products must be unused or assembled and returned in the original retail box/packaging. If an item is returned damaged by personal handling or return shipping and not returned in re-saleable condition, it will not be eligible for a refund or exchange.
For returns; the customer is responsible for return shipping fees, insurance and a 20 % restocking fee for the item(s). Restocking fees are imposed by the manufacturer. Once there is a confirmed receipt of the item(s), Water Filter Plus (www.waterfilterplus.ca) will refund 80% of your original purchase price minus the original shipping charges.
Refund will be issued to the credit card via payment was made or by an Interac e-mail transfer/ Bank e–Transfer.
Water Filter Plus (www.waterfilterplus.ca) will contact the customer regarding any exchange fees.
If you need to perform any water test as per your needs and concern, the customer will need to get it done within the first 10 days of purchase.
You must follow the proper protocols or the test results will not comply with the rules and regulations.
No returns or full refunds can be made without proper proof of concept and/or with it being passed the 10 days of purchase limit.
Please check for any defective products within 4 days and report it with proof.
Please check your order and make sure everything is received. the company must be notified within 1 week (7 days)
Undelivered Packages:
A Canada Post carrier will attempt delivery at the address provided by you when placing the order at waterfilterplus.ca. If you are unavailable for delivery, Canada Post carriers will leave a Delivery Notice Card on your door or mailbox advising you of the attempted delivery, and that the package is now available at your local Canada Postal office/outlet for pick up. This is because of thieves and porch pirates. We want to make sure that you get your purchase in a safe manner!
This notice will include a phone number and postal address to contact for more information and pick up. Canada Post will send via your order email address Ship/Exception/Delivery tracking notifications. Your package will be available for pick up for 15 calendar days, after which it will be returned to Water Filter Plus (www.waterfilterplus.ca). In this case, the customer is responsible for all shipping fees, all product will be incurred/asset 20% restocking fee for all item(s) returned undelivered.
Please understand the above policies are made to keep costs down for the consumer/customer and to make the purchase process as efficient as possible. We want to keep everything easy and efficient as possible.
Please include a PO, P/O, po, p/o box if you have one. If you do not include a PO box number to your address (if applicable) Canada Post/Carrier will not deliver to the address, due to the PO box not being addressed in the shipping address section. If the parcel is returned to the sender you will have to pay the re-shipping fees and also inform the correct address with the PO box. Restocking fees will also be applied if you don’t want to have the order re-shipped and want a refund.

Cancellation Fee
If you place an order and then decide to cancel, a cancellation + payment processing fee will be applied.
Payment Processing Fee
Payment processing fees charged by Credit cards are nonrefundable.
Payment Processing Fee (for duplicate orders)
When placing an order, please only press the “Place Order” button once.
If you press the button twice, you will be charged twice which causes the company to be charged a Payment processing fee twice by payment processing agency (credit card / PayPal).
If for any reason you do not want your order after it has been placed, it will be treated as a return.
Warranty:
Water Filter Plus (www.waterfilterplus.ca) warrants this product to be free from defects in materials and workmanship during ordinary recommended consumer usage.
British Berkefeld Stainless Steel System Housing:
Covered by a lifetime replacement policy for failures due to materials or workmanship. The customer is responsible for shipping charges. This lifetime policy does not cover scratch & dent systems or damage caused by carelessness, accidents or abuse of the system.
British Berkefeld & Doulton Ceramic Filters:
Covered by a warranty of 6 months. The warranty period begins from the date of receipt of the product by the original purchaser. Does not apply to normal wear and tear, breakage or damage from dropping, or damage from accidents, misuse (including failure to follow product documentation), lost or stolen products, neglect, disassembly, alterations, and external causes such as thermal or environmental conditions.
Water Filter Plus will replace or repair any product that it deems is not properly functioning during the stated warranty period. Relief under this warranty is limited to the replacement or repair of defective materials or workmanship only. Water Filter Plus shall not be held liable for incidental or consequential damage to personal property from, but not limited to, a defective unit, improper use, abuse, accident, or neglect, etc. No warranty will apply to units which have been used for purposes not intended, and which have been altered so as, in the manufacturer’s judgment, to affect adversely its performance. This warranty is for the original retail purchaser only, and cannot be transferred.
Water Filter Plus fully warrants the British Berkefeld & Doulton water filter line of products. You may contact Water Filter Plus Filter at any time to report an issue with your product. Water Filter Plus is a reliable, upstanding, and quality company that will promptly address your needs.
AquaBliss products:
All products include a 6-month limited warranty, unless otherwise stated.
All parts are warranted to the original purchaser to be free from defects in material and workmanship, for 6 months, from the date of purchase. If a malfunction occurs, please contact us directly and team will follow up with next steps. You will need to send us the defective part(s) along with your proof of purchase. The warranty does not cover damage due to an accident, misuse or failure to follow the written instructions accompanying this product.
Warranty Exclusions
The following actions will void your warranty coverage:
- Allowing any of the British Berkefeld / Doulton Ceramic Filters to freeze.
- Use dehumidifier water with any of the British Berkefeld / Doulton Ceramic filters for daily use.
- Breaking or damaging British Berkefeld / Doulton Products due to dropping, carelessness, cleaning or general mishandling.
- · Failure to remove the ceramic from the system prior to transporting or moving the system, resulting in broken stems.
- · Using the water from a water softening system. Note: this action may clog the British Berkefeld / Doulton Ceramic filters or cause the stainless steel to pit or rust.
- Using salt water with British Berkefeld / Doulton Ceramic products.
- If the product is not used in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommendations or instructions.
- Storing Berkefeld / Doulton Ceramic filters in a manner not approved by British Berkefeld and Doulton.
Customers are responsible to pay the shipping fees for RMA related orders. ($20+)
